Seguin PD still seeking robbery suspect

(Seguin) — One of the two robbery suspects wanted in connection with a series of armed robberies at local and area pharmacies has turned himself into the Seguin Police Department.

On Friday, the Seguin PD announced that it was working in conjunction with the Pleasanton Police Department and Sealy Police Department, in apprehending two suspects that had been identified. Photos of those men were shared with area media outlets and via social media.

Police first identified Andre Dupree Jack, AKA “Dupree”, 38, as the man who robbed the 10-Minute Pharmacy in Seguin on Saturday, May 8, 2021. On that day at approximately 9:45 am, the suspect entered the pharmacy with a handgun, demanding drugs and money.

A few months earlier on Dec. 14, 2020, at approximately 9:45 am, Jack and two other suspects robbed the Seguin Pharmacy located in the 200 block E. Court Street. In both robberies, the victims/store employees were tied up. An undisclosed amount of prescription medication and currency were also taken.

During the course of these investigations, detectives learned of similar pharmacy robberies that occurred in Pleasanton, Texas on Oct. 31, 2020, and an attempted armed robbery in Sealy, Texas on Feb. 12, 2021.

The other suspect identified in the investigation was Atseko Factor, 37. Of these two men, it was learned Sunday that Factor, known to have lived in both San Antonio and Houston had turned himself into authorities.

Seguin PD officials say this case continues to be an active investigation. The remaining suspect is considered armed and dangerous. More arrests are anticipated as are additional charges.

Anyone with information on the location of Andre “Dupree” Jack is encouraged to call the Guadalupe County Crime Stoppers at (830) – 401-2360. A cash reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest or grand jury indictment in this case. Callers will remain anonymous.
