(Emmitsburg, Maryland) — A memorial wreath honoring Seguin Firefighter Roger Dean has been placed at the U.S. Fire Administration and National Training Emergency Center in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
Flags are also flying at half-staff to remember Dean who died on Friday in a Houston hospital from COVID-19 related complications.
Services honoring Dean will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Seguin High School Performing Arts Center. There will be a procession on the way to the service to honor Dean.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Tres Hewell Mortuary.
Many fire departments from throughout the area are also expected to be in town Saturday to pay their respects to his family and to the local fire fighting community.
