Frank Lopez

Frank Lopez, age 59 of Seguin, entered eternal rest on Friday, April 17, 2021. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5-7 p.m. A private family recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 12 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Stockdale, Texas.  Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Face coverings are requested at all locations. Frank was born on October 26, 1961 in Floresville, Texas to Francisco and Maria Madge (Trevino) Lopez. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Mary Herrera, and his brothers, Larry and Leonard Lopez. Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Nelda Lopez; his children, Patrick Lopez and wife Liz and Bryanna Lopez (Marshal Gleason); grandchildren, Ethan, Mason and Liam Lopez; siblings, Eddie Lopez (Mary Jane), Grace Gusman, Gilbert Lopez, JoAnn Medina (Robert), Yvonne Gonzalez (Luis), Adam Lopez and Hector Lopez (Anna); parents-in-law, Lorenzo  and Dolores Quintanilla; siblings-in-law, Lori Quintanilla and husband Raymond Zepeda, Roland Quintanilla and partner Ken Mohundro; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends. Frank was a Seguin High School graduate, and served in the Army Reserves for 13 years. He worked as a Technical Field Engineer for 14 years for Siemens Corp. He attended Texas A&M Extension and obtained an Associate’s Degree in electronics. Frank traveled all over the world while working for Siemens Corp. and while in the Army Reserves. Frank will be remembered as a dedicated husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Serving as pallbearers will be, Hector Lopez, Adam Lopez, Ian Sandoval, Esteban Lopez, Mike Guerra and Leonard Lopez, Jr.  Memorial contributions may be made to, Dementia Society of America, P.O.
