(Seguin) –A Guadalupe County detention officer is on the other side of the bars today.
Guadalupe County Sheriff Arnold Zwicke says Ashley Morales, who was employed by the Guadalupe County Adult Detention Center, was arrested Monday for violations of the civil rights of person in custody, improper sexual activity in custody or under supervision.
Morales was arrested by Guadalupe County investigators and the Texas Rangers.
She was booked into the Guadalupe County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
Zwicke says her employment with the county was terminated upon her arrest, and says she is no longer associated with the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office.
He says no further information is available on this case.
