(Seguin) — More testing opportunities will be in Seguin this week. Two COVID-19 mobile testing sites are scheduled for today and Friday. Unlike other mobile testing events, pre-registration will not be required, but it will help insure that you are tested. Individuals do not have to have symptoms in order to be tested.
The mobile sites will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and on Friday on the east side of Max Starcke Park. Again, no symptoms are needed. However some of the possible symptoms for those considering to be tested include fever and chills; cough; fatigue; body aches, or muscle and joint pain; shortness of breath; sore throat; headaches; nausea, vomiting or diarrhea; nasal congestion or loss of taste and smell.
Again, you do not need an appointment to get tested. Testing sites will be a drive thru and testing will be administered on a first come, first serve basis.
Meanwhile, people are still being encouraged to protect themselves and others from the virus. Stay home when you can, wear a mask when you go out and practice social distancing, and also wash your hands often.
