SEGUIN, Texas (March 3, 2020) – Nineteen Seguin High School art students earned 24 medals at the UIL Region 13 Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) in San Marcos on Feb. 29.
Matador student artist Kylie Perez qualified for the state event in April.
Perfect four out of four ratings went to Jesus Bermea, Lizbeth Campos-Garcia, Julia Gonzalez, Allie Lange, Jasmine Maldonado, Flor Mares, Evan Nutt, Audrey Parker, Alexis Perez, Kylie Perez, Marianna Reimer, Kinley Rhodes, Shandis Schweninger, Caleb Slussler, Kamdyn Holt, Monica Martinez, Samuel Kuempel and Alexis Ortiz.
Kiara Rael-Spears received a three out of four rating.
Seguin High School art teachers Jihee Park, Leslie Schepp and Diana Weems are extremely proud to teach art to these students.
