(Seguin) — Are you looking to party your way into the New Year? If so, there are several opportunities for you to do so here in Seguin. At least, four organizations are hosting New Year’s Eve celebrations tonight.
The Guadalupe Valley Habitat for Humanity is hosting its Roaring 20s New Year’s Eve Party from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Tuesday night in the Rose Ballroom in the historic Aumont Hotel building, located at 301 N. Austin St. in downtown Seguin. Tickets are $60 per person and can be purchased at Gift & Gourmet, Serenity Boutique, The Shop @ Design Associates, or at the Habitat Store. Those who attend will be able to enjoy live jazz entertainment provided by Choo-Cha Booch, catering from Werner’s of Shiner, and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Seguin Youth Services is offering a dance of its own, with the whole family in mind. SYS is hosting a dance from 8 p.m. to midnight Tuesday at its Geronimo Community Center, located at 280 Navarro Dr. The doors open at 7 p.m., with limited seating still available. There will be complimentary party foods and champagne. The entertainment will be provided by Clint Taft and the Buck Wild Band. Presale tickets are $15, or $20 tickets will be available at the door. A little farther up the road in Geronimo is another New Year’s Eve celebration. The Geronimo VFW invites the community to its New Year’s Eve Dance. It starts at at 8 p.m. and runs until just past midnight at the VFW Hall located at 6808 N. State Highway 123 in downtown Geronimo. The dance features music performed by Jimmie Bolado and Monte Good. There will also be champagne, party favors, black eyed peas and cornbread provided that night — all for $17 per person. For reservations or more information, call 830-379-0506 or 830-305-8829.
And finally, the Silver Center is also opening its doors Tuesday night for a New Year’s party. The dance runs from 8 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Tuesday night at the Silver Center, located 510 E. Court St. in downtown Seguin. Presale tickets are $15, and they’ll increase to $25 if you wait to get them at the door. Musical entertainment features the sounds of Carol Cochran.
