Beer and more, Seguin Brewing pouring even more big plans into Downtown Seguin

Seguin, TX, USA / Seguin Today

(Seguin) — Seguin Brewing Company is a favorite among the community, hosting trivia nights, live music, sports game showings, and just a fun time paired with quality hand crafted beer. Reviews rave about their beers, their staff, laid back and friendly environment, and just general hospitality. However, if you have passed by or visited recently you may have noticed some construction next door at 109 West Gonzales. Said construction is Seguin Brewing’s pizza kitchen expansion project. Yes, you heard correctly, a pizza kitchen is coming to downtown Seguin! There is not a set open date yet, but the community can look forward to late August/early September to be the projected soft opening.

Owner Brian Wallace is excited about this expansion and was happy to share, “We will be opening a pizza kitchen. We will start with a limited menu focusing on our pizza and processes and will be adding to the menu as we get rolling. In the future, patrons can expect a family friendly environment serving pizza, salads, appetizers, sandwiches, and potentially much more as we grow. However, our main focus will be on quality bar style pizza with fresh toppings.”
This expansion project is estimated to add 50-60 more seats to their current location giving the whole place approximately 150 seating capacity for a good time. All these seats are just building to the Seguin Brewing Company dream!
When Seguin Brewing fist opened their downtown location, they just wanted a place where they could make Seguin inspired brews and house a family friendly “old school beer hall” inspired establishment. Well they have accomplished that dream and it’s on to the next! “We are looking forward to a future filled with pizza, beer, and great place for the community to come together over food and drink,” said Wallace.
“The Seguin Main Street Advisory Board has made recruitment of restaurants a top priority for downtown’s future and the Board is hopeful that the pizza kitchen will be just the start of several new restaurants that will make downtown Seguin a dining destination,” said Kyle Kramm, Seguin Main Street & CVB Director.

Not only is the Main Street Advisory Board excited for this project, but many from the public are just as excited and they cannot wait for the day they can walk in and enjoy pizza, beer, and whatever event Seguin Brewing has to offer. After this pizza kitchen who knows what downtown Seguin can expect from them next.
