(Seguin) — The search is on for a local woman who was last reported seen in April. Seguin Police officials say they are hoping the public can help locate Alyssa Denise Camarena, 29, of Seguin.
Tanya Brown, the public information officer for the Seguin Police Department, says Camarena was reportedly last seen leaving her home on Tony Lee Street located just off of San Antonio Avenue near Park West on April 26, 2019.
“My understanding is that she left the residence after an argument with a family member and she had not been seen or heard from since then,” said Brown.
Brown says after that argument with a family member, no one has seen or been in contact with her.
“Anytime that a person is entered in as a missing person, there’s qualifications so we have to feel like they are in danger and so Alyssa takes medications daily which she does not have and so therefore family members and officers are concerned about her welfare and so we are asking for anyone in Seguin or surrounding areas to notify law enforcement if they know where her whereabouts are,” said Brown.
Camarena is described as a Hispanic female, standing 4 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. She also has brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on the woman’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Seguin Police Department at 830-379-2123.
