Ana Maria Martinez “Mary”, Wife, Mother, Sister and Grandmother joined her husband Arturo R. Martinez in the Lords Heavenly Kingdom on May 9, 2019. Mary as everyone knew her by was born on October 31, 1944 in Falfurrias, Texas to Jesus Chavera and Josefa Calderon. She married Arturo R. Martinez on January 22, 1966 in Kingsville, Texas. Mary was a loving and kind woman who spoke her heart and was very giving. She will be truly missed by all who loved her. She is preceded in death by both parents; her loving husband, Arturo R. Martinez and sons Arnoldo Martinez, Sr. and Alex C. Martinez. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Arturo Martinez, Jr., Samuel Martinez, Sr. (Yolanda); Michael Martinez (Sandra), Belinda Aguillon (Marco), Cynthia Ann Martinez and grandchildren she raised as her own Mariah Celine Wallace, Jasiah A. Martinez and Chelsey Renee Martinez; siblings America Hinojosa and David Chavera; daughter-in-law Maribel Martinez and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Major Martinez, Mason Martinez, Samuel Martinez Jr., Jeramy Martinez, Nicholas Martinez, Justin Barnhill, Arnold Martinez Jr., and Adrian Martinez Honorary Pallbearers will be Daniel Aguillon, Jasiah Martinez. Visitation will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Palmer Mortuary Chapel on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the San Geronimo Cemetery.
