Willie Eugene Kizer, Sr., (Pappy), age 85 of Kingsbury, passed away on April 15, 2019. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Graveside services and interment with full military honors will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Kingsbury Cemetery in Kingsbury, Texas with Rev. Tom Jones officiating. Willie was born on September 16, 1933 in Rotan, Texas to Obie Chester and Roberta (Miller) Kizer. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Willie is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Kenneth Kizer, his sister, Margaret Farmer and his son-in-law, Dennis Voigt. Survivors include his loving partner, June Kizer; children, Kathryn Kizer Thompson, Larry Kizer and wife Laury, Connie Sue Kizer, Karen Ann Voigt, Gwendolyn Simpson and husband Mark, and Willie Eugene Kizer, Jr.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and friends. He always loved spending time with his family and friends and he will be missed.
