TLU VITA Tax Clinics
TLU and the Business department will provide free tax return preparation assistance to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. The clinics will run from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesdays and 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays through April 13 in the Beck Center, Lower Level Room 5. There will be no clinics the week of spring break, March 9-17.

Texas Concert Opera Collective Performance
The Texas Concert Opera Collective will perform "Werther" at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. There will also be an opportunity to spend “An Evening in Paris” featuring a 3-course French dinner with wine. Seguin Youth Soccer Registration
Registration is available for the Seguin Youth Soccer Club spring season for players with birth dates between 2006 and 2015. Registration is $70 and includes a jersey, shorts and socks. Regular registration will close Sunday, Feb. 17. There will be a $10 late registration fee and registration will depend on availability after Feb. 17. Games will begin Saturday, March 23. The Guadalupe County Child Welfare Board and the Guadalupe County Children's Advocacy Center will have its 5K Superhero Dash beginning with registration at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, April 6 at Max Starcke Park East Pavilion. Early registration is $20 by Friday, March 29 and $30 up to the day of the race. Register online at www.athleteguild.com or onsite date of race. Snacks & water will be provided. Participants are asked to come dressed as your favorite superhero.

Mid-Texas Symphony
The Mid-Texas Symphony will continue its search for its Music Director as Diane Witty, conductor, takes the stage at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 31 in Jackson Auditorium on the campus of Texas Lutheran University in Seguin. Tickets are available at www.mtsymphony.org or by calling 830-463-5353.

The GCCAC will have a Grand Opening of its new location from 3 to 5p.m. Thursday, April 7 at 265 Wetz in Seguin. There will be tours of the facility and light
refreshments will be provided.

Seguin Volleyball Summer League
The Seguin Volleyball Association will accept registration fees for its Spring League from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 14 and Thursday, May 16 at the Fiesta Ballroom. There will be a meeting at 7 pm. Wednesday, May 22 at the Hall of Fame building at the Seguin Events Center. The leagues begin Monday, June 3. Team fees are $100 per team per league and $14.75 per person for residents and $15.75 per player for non-resident players.
