Retired Teachers Meeting
The Guadalupe County Retired Teachers Association will meet at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 at the Seguin Public Library to view the history of the Unit as recorded in scrapbooks. Bring donations for the Children's Book Project and/or the Christian Cupboard.

Jam Session

Evelyn Streng Lecture in Contemporary Issues
The inaugural Evelyn Streng Lecture in Contemporary Issues will be given by Jan Jarboe Russell from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14 at Jackson Auditorium on the campus of Texas Lutheran University. Jan Jarboe Russell is the author of "The Train to Crystal City," and tells the story of a secret World War II internment camp that was located in Crystal City, Texas. The event is sponsored by the Brown Cultural Enrichment Endowment Fund.

Kiwanis Flag Sponsorships

Seguin Band Boosters BBQ & Auction
The Seguin Band Boosters BBQ & Auction will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15 at the Seguin Coliseum. BBQ plates are $10. Dine in will be available from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and a drive thru will be available from 5 to 7 p.m. Music will be provided by the Seguin ISD Bands.
