The First United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sundays in October. For more information, call 830-379-4112.

Health, Wellness & Resource Fair
The Bethel Pentecostal Church of Christ has rescheduled its Annual Health, Wellness & Resource Fair from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at Seguin Youth Services located at 919 North Guadalupe Street in Seguin. There will be vendors from Seguin, New Braunfels and San Antonio. Blood Pressure and Blood Glucose Monitoring will also be offered. Men's Day Program

The Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church will celebrate its Annual Harvest Day at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14. The guests will be Rev. Earnest Powell and the Zion Fair Baptist Church of La Vernia.

Annual Men's Day
The I Am Redeemed Bible Church will have its Annual Men's Day at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14 at 177 S. Guadalupe St. in Seguin. The theme is "Men of Faith." The guest preacher will be Rev. Oscar L. Barnes of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Seguin.

Pastor and Wife Anniversary Celebration
The New St. James Baptist Church will celebrate Pastor, Rev. A.J. Malone II and Lady Michelle Malone's 10th Anniversary at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14. Food will be served from 1:45 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Gospel Messenger will be Pastor Marion Dolford and the Greater Refuge Church of Seguin. The event will also feature the EPS Mass Choir and special guests Bro. Ray Howard and Anointed of San Antonio. The theme is "Serving God through Christ, that the world my know our Savior."

Know your Bible Series

The First United Methodist Church Seguin and Seguin Animal Services will have its Pumpkins and Puppies at the Patch event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 at 710 N. Austin St in Seguin. There will be a Blessing of the Animals and an opportunity to adopt a pet.

Oktoberfest/TruLight 127 Benefit
The Triumphant Lutheran Church will have its Oktoberfest/TruLight 127 Benefit from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 at 21315 Bat Cave Road in Garden Ridge. BBQ brisket and sausage meals are $10 for adults and $5 for children. There will be live music by the Bohemian Dutchmen and children’s activities. Palestine C.O.G.I.C. Homecoming

Homemade Coffee Cakes
The Emanuel's Lutheran Church Ladies Aid will be selling $5 freshly baked coffee cakes from 1 to 2 p.m. Mondays, Oct. 22, and Oct. 29 at 206. N. Travis St. in Seguin. The Ladies Aid Bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 in the fellowship hall. Homemade coffee cakes, sandwiches, salad plates, chips, desserts, coffee, and tea will be available for sale. There will also be a country store, crafts, homemade quilt raffle and more.

Whole Food Plant Based Potluck
There will be a Whole Food Plant Based potluck from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 in Heirholzer Hall of the First United Methodist Church. The program will be on "Healthful Eating" by Carol Whitaker. The New Hope Missionary Baptist Church will offer Healing Our Hearts Together by the Power of Prayer for those experiencing a loss or grief.
