(Seguin) -- The best of the best have been announced for this year's Biggest Small-Town 4th of July Parade in Texas.
Thousands again lined Austin Street for this year's parade held Wednesday morning. Special awards were extended to a handful of parade entries. Just over 150 floats participated in this year's parade.
This year's Grand Prize Trophy for Best Overall Entry went to the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce.
Best Local Entry went to the Amigo Lawn Service. Other trophy awards were extended to Most Unique, New Life Fellowship and Most Patriotic, the American Legion Riders, Chapter 245.
Special recognition ribbon winners were also extended to:
Alamo Silver Wings; Proud American Traditions; Seguin High School Cheer; Seguin High School HOSA Future Health Professionals; Guadalupe Agriculture Fair Queen; Seguin Family Historical Society; Sprouts Learning Center; Floresville Peanut Festival Children's Court Yoakum Area Chamber of Commerce; Michael Kortz; Light of the World Church; Pecancrete; Street Image Car, Bike and Truck Club; Luling Watermelon Thump; You Kill It, I Grill It; Seguin Youth Sports League; PAGA Jr. Golf Team; Alamo Fireworks; CMC Steel Texas and Peeples Wrecker Service.
