(Seguin) -- "We didn't know any of the victims personally but we knew we had to do something." Those are the words of Cosme Alzalde, better known as DJ Chuko.

DJ Chuko, of Seguin, has organized a night of music featuring various bands -- bands who have each chosen to donate their talents in hopes of raising money for the victims of Sunday's mass shooting at the small church in Sutherland Springs.

"I have four bands and then I'm going to be DJing in between. I have two bands from San Antonio. One is called Tornado y Los Vengadores. We have another one from San Antonio called Conjunto Animo and then we have two bands here from Seguin. One is called Mas Tequila and we have another one called Los Conjunto Cats. It's going to be a $5 minimum or a donation (at the door). If you don't want to attend the dance, you are more than welcome to go by and if you would like to leave a donation, go by and leave a donation at the door. All this is going to a GoFundMe

account that they have set up for them," said DJ Chuko.

DJ Chuko says 100 percent of all money raised will go directly to the victims. He especially thanks the bands who have
stepped up to make this possible.

The fundraising event will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at JRs Lounge located at 918 W. Kingsbury St.
Sutherland Springs
