(Seguin) -- The Seguin Public Library invites all young artists ages 4-18 to share their imagination and artistic talents, under the guidance of professional and experienced artists, to create a Community Art Project.
The library wants to engage the creativity and talent of the community's children and teens to create a one-of-a-kind work of art that will be a legacy for the community. The art work will showcase the talent, imagination and unique visions of our young patrons.
Organizers say the library is an inspirational place that offers children and teens opportunities to build imagination, explore new worlds, and enjoy new adventures through books, movies and programs. They say each individual creation will be incorporated into a larger composition that will embody the many facets of the library's inspirational role.
The finished artwork will be displayed at the library.
The library will provide all supplies. Parents should plan for 30 to 60 minutes for artistic creativity. The program will be held in the library community meeting room on Saturday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The program is free and open young artists ages 4-18. The library is located at 313 W Nolte St. Seguin, TX 78155.
