(Seguin) -- Fair gates officially open today for the 134th Guadalupe County Fair and PRCA Rodeo. Today also marks the annual KWED Listener Appreciation Night at the rodeo.
Teaming up with the radio station in offering free rodeo tickets to the community are Yaklin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Palm Harbor Homes. A limited number of tickets is still available for tonight's event. Families are encouraged to stop by one of these businesses for their free tickets.
Those at the fair are also invited to stop by the Yaklin booth and register for a chance to win one of three prizes. The prizes this year include a 43" Vizio flat screen, a gas grill and a 65 quart customized Yeti Cooler. The prizes will be drawn at the end of the four day event.
Each free fair gate and rodeo ticket also gives you a chance to win a $200 cash prize during tonight's dance. Individuals must be present to win. The rodeo pre-show begins at 7 p.m. followed by the PRCA Rodeo at 7:30 p.m.
The fair begins today and runs through Sunday at the Guadalupe County Fairgrounds.
