Teatro De Artes offers community events, contest to celebrate Dia De Los Muertos

(Seguin) -- Teatro De Artes De Juan Seguin is inviting you over for a pair of community celebrations all sparked by the holiday season and observance of Dia De Los Muertos. The first is the third annual Calaveras y Poesia. The Sunday afternoon event is being held in collaboration with the Center for Mexican-American Studies Department at Texas Lutheran University along with the United Way and Texas Commission on the Arts.

Teatro, LULAC Community garden helps foster annual summer camp

(Seguin) -- Although its summer camp is over, a local non-profit organization is leaving kids with limitless opportunities found at Seguin's local Community Garden. In wrapping up its 2nd Annual Summer Arts and Agroecology Camp, Teatro De Artes De Juan Seguin directors say the benefits of attending the camp stretch beyond the week-long experience offered at its cultural arts center.

(Seguin) -- Teatro De Artes De Juan Seguin will hold its 36th Annual Recital at 7 p.m. Friday at Texas Lutheran University's Jackson Auditorium. The sounds of mariachi music and the sights of ballet folklorico dancing will take over the stage.

Noche De Gala returns this weekend to Jackson Auditorium
