(Seguin) -- The East Central High School Class of '98 will gather in Seguin this weekend to rally behind one of their classmates whose teenager was among the 26 people shot and killed in Sutherland Springs. A fundraiser event is being planned this Saturday for the family of 16-year-old Haley Krueger. Krueger, the daughter of Charlene Uhl, attended Barnes Middle School in Seguin prior to moving to La Vernia a couple of years ago.More

(Seguin) -- Thirteen hours of fundraising are on tap this weekend for the victims of the Sutherland Springs church shooting. The Double Diamond Saloon & Dancehall will host a day of barbecue and music for First Baptist Church Sutherland Springs. The fundraiser will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday at the tavern formerly, The Country Cabaret.More

(Seguin) -- "We didn't know any of the victims personally but we knew we had to do something." Those are the words of Cosme Alzalde, better known as DJ Chuko.
DJ Chuko, of Seguin, has organized a night of music featuring various bands -- bands who have each chosen to donate their talents in hopes of raising money for the victims of Sunday's mass shooting at the small church in Sutherland Springs.More

(Sutherland Springs) -- Law enforcement officials are updating some of the details surrounding the shooting death of more than 25 people Sunday at a church in Sutherland Springs, approximately 30 minutes south of Seguin. Freeman Martin, of the Texas Department of Public Safety, on Monday provided an update on the death toll and on the number injured in Sunday's attack on the First Baptist Church.
