(Seguin) -- Today is the deadline to register for this year's Holiday Wee Steppers. Chelsea Bode, Wee Steppers sponsor, says the Seguin High School Gold Battalion Starsteppers are inviting local children to perform at Friday's city of Seguin Holiday Sip n Stroll event in downtown Seguin.

Seguin ISD to host first regular board meeting with newly elected trustees

(Seguin) -- The Seguin ISD Board of Trustees will tackle its first regular meeting tonight with its four newest board members. The board members were elected during the Nov. 6 school board election and sworn into office last month during a special meeting. The new trustees include Alejandro Guerra, District 2; Linda Duncan, District 4; Denise Crettenden, District 5 and Glenda Moreno, who ran unopposed for District 7. The board tonight will also look at reorganizing or electing its board officers for the coming year.

SISD to present State of District meeting Monday night

(Seguin) -- It's back to business for the Seguin ISD. After a week long Thanksgiving vacation, the Seguin ISD will be returning with an update and vision on the district's future. The Seguin ISD will be hosting a State of the District presentation today from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the Seguin High School Performing Arts Center (PAC).
