Seguin police officers gather near the shore of the Guadalupe River where a man's body was found floating in the water Tuesday morning.

(Seguin) -- The Seguin Police Department is working to identify a body found floating Tuesday morning in the Guadalupe River. Deputy Police Chief Bruce Ure says that it appears as if the man had been in the river for a number of days.

(Seguin) -- The Seguin Police Department is putting the bike pedal to the metal increasing its law enforcement efforts across the city. The police department has recently acquired five more bicycles for its bike patrol unit.

(Seguin) -- "That was probably one of the most memorable things I've ever been involved in in 38 years." Those are the words of Deputy Chief Bruce Ure of the Seguin Police Department who recently received the Valor Award from Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.

(Seguin) -- Hear Ye! Hear Ye! The Seguin Police Department is requesting the presence of local princesses and their kings to its annual Cinderella Ball. Tickets are now on sale for the 9th annual royal affair scheduled for Friday, June 22 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Seguin Coliseum.
