Vendors Needed for Freedom Fiesta
KWED is seeking vendors for Freedom Fiesta that will be held 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, June 30. For profit vendors are needed to sell arts, crafts, and retail items. Non-profit vendors are also needed for game booths. For more information or to reserve your space call 830-379-2234.

Menopause program
The Seguin Public Library in collaboration with Guadalupe Regional Medical Center, will present "Menopause: What You Were Never Told," with guest speaker Dr. Jodi Brennan, MD, at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 12 in the Library's Community Meeting Room. Husbands and significant others are highly encouraged to attend this event as well. The program is free and open to the public.

Jam Session
There will be a Jam Session at the Geronimo VFW from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 12 at 6808 N Hwy 123 in Geronimo. Musicians, singers, and listeners are welcomed. Bring your snacks. Native Plant Society Meeting

Golf Tournament
The Crossroads Church will have its 2nd Annual Band of Brothers 4-Man Scramble Golf Tournament at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, June 23 at Starcke Park Golf Course. Flag Retirement Ceremony
The American Legion Post 245 will host a Flag Retirement Ceremony at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 14 in the parking lot located at 618 E. Kingsbury St. in Seguin. The Guadalupe Valley Young Marines will be will be performing the Flag Retirement Ceremony.

Fire Department Fan Drive
The City of Seguin Fire Department Fan Drive is currently underway from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Municipal Court/Fire Administration building located at 660 S. Hwy 46 in Seguin. A picture ID and proof of residency is required. Limit one fan per household. Donations of fans or money is also being accepted for the Fan Drive. Taste of Seguin
The Silver Center will have its 8th Annual Taste of Seguin from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 19 at the Seguin Coliseum. The cost is $25 pre-sale and $30 at the door. There will be an opportunity to sample food and vote for your favorite. There will also be a live and silent auction. All proceeds benefit the Silver Center.

San Geronimo Cemetery Meeting

Freedom Fiesta
KWED presents, "Freedom Fiesta" from 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday, June 30 in Central Park. The presentation of colors and National Anthem kicks off the event at 6pm, followed by the Kiddie Parade at 6:30 p.m. The event is free and there will be food, games and Schlitterbahn tickets given away hourly from 7 to 10 p.m. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Bittersweet Band.

Outdoorsman Raffle
The Seguin Knights of Columbus Council 3412 will have its Annual "Outdoorsman Raffle" Saturday, June 30 at Freedom Fiesta in downtown Seguin. Tickets are $20 each or six tickets for $100. Tickets can be purchased from any member or at the Oehlke CPA office located at 105 S. River St. in Seguin.
