(Seguin) -- On Sunday, it will be exactly 100 years since the armistice ended the Great War. This year, the Centennial Celebration of Veterans Day will be observed around the world with traditional celebrations being planned here at home.

(Seguin) -- This Sunday, as you spot those American flags waving throughout the heart of Seguin in observance of Veterans Day, you might want to be reminded that the red, white and blue just don't appear on their own. The purchase of those flags and their installation is a community effort -- an effort led by the Kiwanis Club of Seguin.

Seguin Public Library to host Mini Comic Con

(Seguin) -- Heroes, fantasies, gaming and everything comics will be under one roof this weekend as the Seguin Public Library gives folks a taste of the pop culture phenomenon better known as Comic-Con. That taste, however, come with the hosting of a Mini Con and Cosplay contest this Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m.

(Seguin) - Seguin looks to clinch the outright District 12-5A-Division I championship and No. 1 playoff seed tonight when Austin-LBJ visits Matador Stadium in the final regular season game of the 2018 football season.

TLU closes 2018 season with ASC road tilt vs. Southwestern, Saturday's game to air on KWED

(Georgetown) - Texas Lutheran chases its first eight-win season since 2015 Saturday when the Bulldogs wrap up the 2018 football schedule with an American Southwest Conference road game against Southwestern University at Birkelbach Field in Georgetown.
