(Seguin) -- Following what was a razor thin contest throughout much of the evening, voters during Tuesday's General Election managed to unseat the incumbent in the Seguin City Council District 3 race while also welcoming a new city leader for District 7.

Kuempel re-elected to Texas House

(Seguin) -- It was another big night for State Representative John Kuempel. Kuempel, a Republican incumbent from Seguin, easily won re-election to his Texas House District 44 seat. Kuempel defeated
Democratic challenger John Rodgers.

Voters elect three new members to the Seguin ISD Board of Trustees

(Seguin) -- Voters have secured new leadership for a trio of seats on the Seguin ISD Board of Trustees.
In District 2, Alejandro Guerra defeated Joseph Scott Ranft. Guerra received 678 of the votes cast while Ranft followed closely behind with 441 votes.
