Arroyo Ranch subdivision includes parks, other amenities

(Seguin) -- A large residential development, being built near Vogel Elementary School, will not only bring dozens of new homes to the community, but it's also going to have some great amenities that will make it a more comfortable place to call home. Jack Jones, parks and recreation director for the city of Seguin, says that developers of the Arroyo Ranch subdivision have submitted their plans for parks space in the subdivision, and he says it's an impressive plan for the community.

(Seguin) -- Guadalupe County is continuing to make its veterans a priority. The Guadalupe County Commissioners Court recently approved a contract with ThornGraves Architects for a conceptual design of what will be the future Veterans Center.

Scam artist identifying himself as a county employee; Residents encouraged to be on the lookout for paving scam

(Seguin) -- The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office doesn't want you to fall victim to the latest scam artist to visit the area.

Sheriff Arnold Zwicke and his team of investigators recently took a report in the 2000 block of FM 758 from a concerned citizen. The citizen reported that an individual drove up and represented themselves as a county employee.

(Seguin) - The Zion Hill Running Club of Seguin had five athletes advance through the South Texas AAU regional track and field meet at Converse-Judson in late June to qualfiy for the upcoming AAU Junior Olympics in Des Moines, Iowa.

(Seguin) - The 2018 edition of Dave Campbell's Texas Football Magazine has hit the shelves, and the annual publication predicts playoff appearances for all four Seguin area high school programs, as well as another solid season for Texas Lutheran Univeristy.
