(Seguin) -- A well known novel is making the move from the page to the stage. Will's War is the popular novel written by Seguin native Janice Woods Windle. It tells a remarkable story based on many historic events including that of the treason trial of her Grandfather William Adolph Bergfeld.

(Seguin) -- A new and updated plan that defined how future roads would be developed in the city of Seguin was officially unveiled Tuesday night. The final draft of the city proposed Master Thoroughfare Plan was presented to the Seguin City Council.

Seguin City Council talks possible roadway impact fee

(Seguin) -- With the Seguin City Council set to adopt a new Thoroughfare Master Plan for the city, many may be asking -- how will the city pay for any of those projects? Well, the answer may partially come from a new proposed revenue source. The council is considering the creation of a roadway impact fee for the city. The fee would be similar to water and wastewater impact fees already charged by the city. The idea is to have developers share more of the costs for future developments.

(Seguin) – The Seguin High School baseball program’s 2017 seniors will play their final career home game at ‘Smokey’ Joe Williams Field tonight when the Matadors host Kerrville-Tivy in District 26-5A.

Marion softball falls in Schulenburg, takes No. 4 playoff seed in 27-3A

(Schulenburg) – The Marion softball team will settle for the fourth and final playoff seed in District 27-3A after concluding the regular season with an 8-3 road loss to Schulenburg on Wednesday in a game that was postponed from Tuesday due to wet field conditions.
