(Seguin) -- A new and updated plan that defined how future roads would be developed in the city of Seguin was officially unveiled Tuesday night. The final draft of the city proposed Master Thoroughfare Plan was presented to the Seguin City Council.

(Seguin) -- With the Seguin City Council set to adopt a new Thoroughfare Master Plan for the city, many may be asking -- how will the city pay for any of those projects? Well, the answer may partially come from a new proposed revenue source. The council is considering the creation of a roadway impact fee for the city. The fee would be similar to water and wastewater impact fees already charged by the city. The idea is to have developers share more of the costs for future developments.

(Boerne) – With the District 26-5A softball regular season in the books, Seguin, Lockhart, and Medina Valley find themselves gridlocked in a three-way tie for second place in the standings. When the teams drew numbers on Wednesday to determine playoff seeding, fortune frowned on Seguin, relegating the Matadors to the fourth seed behind No. 2 Lockhart and No. 3 Medina Valley.

(Marble Falls) – The Seguin High School baseball scored all four of its runs in the top of the seventh inning Tuesday night to snap a three-game losing streak in District 26-5A with a 4-1 road victory at Marble Falls.

Marion baseball rallies past Schulenburg for district road win

(Schulenburg) – Marion catcher Tucker Woods tagged a Schulenburg runner headed for the plate on a throw from centerfielder Tayler Mills for the final out in the bottom of the ninth inning Tuesday night to preserve the Bulldogs’ 4-3 road win over the Shorthorns in District 27-3A play.
