(Seguin) -- Some of Seguin's smallest, cutest and most patriotic citizens are being recognized today. The Guadalupe County Republican Women is announcing the winners of this year's Freedom Fiesta Kiddie Parade. Dozens of children participated in this year's event held Saturday night in downtown Seguin. The Kiddie Parade is one of the featured events for Seguin Radio KWED's Fourth of July event.

State grant to fund SISD Whole Child Learning Center

(Seguin) -- The Seguin ISD Matador Special Services Department is the recipient of the 2018-2019 Services to Students with Autism grant. Halcy Dean, director of Special Education for Seguin ISD, said that the grant, totaling $779,050, will be used to develop the Whole Child Learning Center (WCLC).

(Seguin) – Seguin High School has new head coaches in two varsity sports on board for the 2018-19 school year, as the Seguin ISD recently hired Dusty Brittain to lead the baseball program and Jamie Moore to take over the girls basketball team.
