City to host annual Spring Clean-up Day this Saturday

(Seguin) -- Get ready to do some spring cleaning. The City of Seguin is again offering residents the opportunity to get rid of those unwanted items. The 2018 Spring Clean-Up Day is scheduled for Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon.

Tickets still available for themed dinner theater featuring The Titanic

(Seguin) -- Get ready to take a voyage on The Titanic. Tickets are now on sale for the themed dinner theater featuring the story of the historic R.M.S Titantic, the British passenger liner that sank in the North Atlantic Ocean during the early morning hours of April 15, 1912 after colliding with an iceberg during its trip to New York City. The dinner theatre, which commemorates the event’s anniversary, will be held during the next two weekends at The Aumont.

Seguin senior Shyann Atchley (seated, center) was joined by coaches and family members as she finalized her commitment to play softball at Schreiner University during a signing event and reception Wednesday morning at Goldie Harris Gym.  
 
(Seguin) – The Atchley sisters will be softball teammates once again, only this time against NCAA Division III competition in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

(Geronimo) – Navarro High School senior Sydney Sahd signed a letter of intent Wednesday afternoon to play college volleyball at Henderson State, an NCAA Division II member of the Great American Conference in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
