Suspicious package found outside HEB; Police say package turned out to be automotive parts

(Seguin) -- A suspicious looking package caused quite a stir at the HEB store in Seguin Monday night. 

The package turned out to be harmless, but Seguin police and fire officials say they had to take the situation seriously.

Emergency officials pull teen motorist to safety from Guadalupe River

(Seguin) -- Emergency crews spent the better part of Monday afternoon working to rescue a young driver, who drove his vehicle off FM 1117 and into the Guadalupe River.

The case is still under investigation, but the Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office, the Seguin Fire/EMS Department, Texas Game Wardens and the Sand Hills Volunteer Fire Department were all called in response to a vehicle that had driven into the river.
