(Seguin) -- Wednesday reportedly turned into an extremely busy night for firefighters who were all called out overnight to the old Seguin High School campus for a second fire. This fire occurred in the 600 wing located along Lamar Street.
Fire Chief Dale Skinner says the fire, which began just after midnight on Thursday morning, consumed approximately a third of the old building that was already slated for demolition.

(Seguin) -- Investigation continues into the three-alarm fire that destroyed a large storage facility along West New Brainless Street in Seguin.
Seguin Fire Chief Dale Skinner says the building was completely engulfed in flames when they arrived Wednesday night.

(San Marcos) -- A Seguin woman was killed following a single vehicle accident in San Marcos.
Officials say the car crash was reported just after 11 a.m. on Thursday in the 1900 block of State Highway 123. Succumbing to her injuries was Cassandra Baldera, 26, of Seguin. The woman was reportedly a passenger in the vehicle being driven by her brother Eric Baldera, 18, of Seguin. The driver is said to have sustained non-life threatening injuries.

(Seguin) -- Parents with pre-registered kids are being reminded about Saturday's free football fundamentals camp at Seguin High School's Matador Stadium. The camp is being hosted by Seguin native and former University of Texas and NFL Football Player Lawrence Sampleton. Sampleton is facilitating the event on behalf of the Boys and Girls Clubs of South Texas.
The non-profit group which is currently working to transform the former Seguin Activity Center into it's newest home is utilizing the free football camp to help introduce and share part of its mission with local families. The co-ed camp is open to kids ages 6-14.
