(Seguin) -- Seguin High School has plenty to cheer about. Suzanne Zink, Seguin High School head cheerleading coach, has been named a 2016-2017 5A/6A Cheerleading Coach of the Year by the Texas Girls Coaches Association. Zink, who started her career as an assistant dance instructor and part-time teacher, says she's excited about the honor, and couldn't believe the news when she first received word from a friend. More

Instead of rushing, the Guadalupe County Commissioners Court would like for residents to instead slow down and carefully get the job done. (Kyle) – The Seguin girls basketball team was unable to pull a 4-seed, 1-seed upset in the 5A bi-district playoffs Tuesday night, as the Matadors’ season ended in a 43-23 loss to Austin High, the TABC’s 10th-ranked team in the state, at Lehman High School in Kyle.

Seguin boys drop home finale to Dripping Springs, turn focus to bi-district playoffs
(Seguin) – With second place and the No. 2 playoff seed in Distrit 26-5A already secured, the Seguin boys basketball team dropped its regular season finale to Dripping Springs 56-54 Tuesday evening at Goldie Harris Gym.
