(Seguin) -- Get ready to make a detour. A major thoroughfare in and out of the city is expected to be closed throughout the entire weekend. Morgan Ash, the public information officer for the city of Seguin, says work on State Highway 123 Business/Austin Street begins tonight.

(Seguin) -- Feeding the families of Seguin is now a 24/7 operation thanks to the vision and efforts of a local Girl Scout. Eighteen year-old Brittany Anderson has no doubt left a sustainable imprint in her community with the installation of a food drop off slot at the Christian Cupboard, Seguin's local food pantry. Anderson says the project was part of a Girl Scout leadership tier that helps young girls make a difference.
