(Seguin) -- Feeding the families of Seguin is now a 24/7 operation thanks to the vision and efforts of a local Girl Scout. Eighteen year-old Brittany Anderson has no doubt left a sustainable imprint in her community with the installation of a food drop off slot at the Christian Cupboard, Seguin's local food pantry. Anderson says the project was part of a Girl Scout leadership tier that helps young girls make a difference.

(Seguin) -- Seguin Radio KWED and the Seguin Daily News will not be leased or sold to the Seguin Independent School District after all. Official word ending negotiations with the Seguin ISD Board of Trustees was made Wednesday morning.

County tax rate may hold steady for FY 2017

(Seguin) -- Guadalupe County is gearing up to adopt what it says is one of the lowest tax rates in a very long time. The Guadalupe County Commissioners Court took what it says was the next step in the budget process by approving the proposed tax rate set for adoption next month.
